Hi, I’m Tamaryn — the founder and heart behind Acorn and Oak Learning Nest. I’ve spent years working with children of all kinds, each with their own unique strengths and ways of learning. Teaching isn’t just what I do — it’s something I care deeply about. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and genuinely excited to learn.
More than a tuition centre, we’re a space built on love, laughter, and understanding. We welcome learners who benefit from smaller, calmer spaces — making us a neurodivergent-friendly cottage school Upper Highway.
Acorn & Oak began with a dream: to create a cottage school Durban that feels like home, blending flexibility and emotional safety with gentle guidance.
